The Screenman

Our first impression of Todd (owner) was that of a young professional starting a fairly new company. Boy, were we wrong! Our appointment for Todd to examine our roof was 9:30AM. An hour later, I phoned him to find out why he hadn't arrived. He explained that he was on the south side of the county & weather had set him back. Okay, that's understandable I thought to myself, but what about the courtesy of a phone call to let us know? We had taken time off from work for this, we were losing wages & we could have re-scheduled. Todd said that he would get to us eventually. I asked when he thought that would be & he said by noon so we decided to wait rather than take time off another day. I then asked Todd to phone if he was delayed & he said he would but he didn’t. At 12:20PM, I phoned Todd & left a message canceling our appointment. When a business owner cannot treat a potential customer with courtesy & respect, it sets the tone for the entire business relationship.
