The Paragon School of Pet Grooming

The program is not for beginners although they market it that way. Anyone who has 0 prior experience with animal grooming will quickly fall behind and end up dropping / getting kicked out. All of the good instructors have left over the last year. The "instructors" now are students who just graduated the program and were offered an "instructor" position upon graduation. There is only 1 CMG (Certified Master Groomer) there and she works in the office, not on the floor. Injuries to people and pets have become commonplace and the quality of their work is shoddy. It is not worth saving the $15 to get your pet done here.. pay the extra few dollars and go somewhere with integrity.

This program is really only for people with existing knowledge in the field. If you do not have any experience in pet grooming already, YOU WILL FALL BEHIND and end up failing. The teachers here clearly have their favorite students and if you are not one of them, sorry about your luck. They only have 1 Certified Master Groomer and she works in the office, not on the student floor. Their equipment and facility is in need of significant repair. All of the good instructors have left in the last year, leaving only new graduates who were offered "instructor" positions after graduating. The quality of their grooming has gone down significantly as well and injuries to pets are common. Pay the extra $10 to have your pets groomed somewhere else by an expert, you will be glad you did.
