The WORST food ever ordered the 2 egg breakfast with hash browns and toast and my husband ordered cheese burger with fires and coffee I had water. Our order came she did refill coffee but the food was well I got one egg on a two egg breakfast the hash brown barley looked cooked if that and tasted freezer burnt and the toast was over cooked and cold. My husband chees burger bun was old a stale it was very small size of a dollar menu burger and the fries were also freezer burnt. Although the coffee was the best part of the meal as my husband states the waitress never came back by to ask how the meal was but towards the end she dropped of the handwritten ticket, and well we were over charged on the hamburger by 2 dollars. All though we did eat because it was well we were EXTREMLY hungryy as leaving for our trip and not having ate anything since getting up and then being 3 hours latter they ate the ONLY place along the route and us not realizing Lincoln City is only another 24 miles away we pulled over looked like a nice little mom and pops place BUT this place CLEARLY has a cook that just does NOT care any longer. Keep on driving to Lincoln City. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

The owner Ella Mae Clup's niece, by Connie Weygandt.

First off Id like you all who don't know me to get to know me. Want to tell you how sorry I am that those who have had a BAD Experience at the The Dory, Ella Mae wants to say she is sorry and please be patient she is trying very hard to get the crew and the food where it needs to be.

Also want to say sorry about our hours not being set right yet either. Please this is a problem right now too. Am working on that problem too. We just picked wrong time of year to open.

This has been in my family off and on since 1976, more on than off, Connie my neice has been here for 36 years, her folks Bill and Mary Lou Ashcraft owned the Dory 27 years, Connie Weygandt 18years and Gerry Betzer 4years owned the Tidewater Restaurant and Lounge , in Pacific City, Oregon.

We are all working on trying to get up and running right. When we opened this is just a trial run. That is one reason there has not been a Grand Opening, we want to make Make sure all the bugs are out.

Denise Rayne also is helping work out some of the bugs. So Please be a little more patient with us, we will get it all worked out. Our Local Business means a lot to us, remember we are all family and need each other to make and keep the Dory open.

Thank You all for reading and hope you understand where we are coming from. Ella Mae, Connie, Gerry, Harland and Denise
