Don't take your Land Rover to Automaster!
My first encounter with Automaster involved a quote for over $1500 to fix my "dangerous" brakes - luckily I couldn't have the work done immediately as I needed to head out of town where I had someone else check them. Apparently there was nothing wrong with them - and upon my return Automaster admitted they were wrong and explained that they didn't really have a Land Rover Tech there and that the Porsche guy made the misdiagnosis! Just last week I had an issue with my dashlights being out and against my better judgement let them work on my truck. When I came to pick it up my car was mysteriously pouring fuel from the exhaust and it was determined I needed a new fuel injector. By Monday I needed a new computer (according to them) and after consulting with another Rover Tech I decided to have my vehicle towed elsewhere. After arrival my vehicle was observed to be on fire. Turns out the clowns at Automaster had failed to disconnect the battery despite the fuel issue! My car is now totaled.
