Rudeness Psycho Waitresses

Was a regular customer - at least twice a week. My to go orders were always the same, they knew what I wanted. Then the management change and one of the female waitresses became Manager. Now none of the waitresses are nice, most cannot speak English but they are still trying to take orders on the phone and they now tell outright lies. Tell me over the phone 15 to 20 minutes and I say fine, please get my order in right away - instead of just saying yes and hanging up, she goes into a long broken-english dissertation on how busy they are. Took sooo long to order and then this, I just kept saying please stop and go put my order in - she then puts another waitress on. By now I have driven all the way their and am sitting in front of the restaurant (my order still isn't in) listening to yet another one tell me about how busy they are - from my car I can see there is NO ONE at the Sushi bar (I want sushi) and 3 tables, period. I walk in while still on the phone with this waitress and finally say to her did you put my order in? She goes nuts on me (can you say gotcha) and then both waitresses begin pleading/involving seated CUSTOMERS (talk about psycho stuff). Turns out neither of them put the order in!!!!!!!!!! Sushi guy (who is not busy at all) is apologizing and says he will take my order and makes it on the spot - then we both go back to waitress station and wait (again) together for her to ring it up - she once again verbally abuses me and calls me a troublemaker and that I am always complaining and she can refuse to serve me (so you put me through all this hell and now you want to refuse sell it to me?) - this while another woman from a table got up and said to the waitresses "the customer is always right", another table go up and left - I paid and left - WHO NEEDS THIS PSYCHO DRAMA.\t\n\t\nBottomline - if your going to sit at the sushi bar, it's great - if you get a male waiter, your all good, if you get a female waitperson or want food to go, allow 15 minutes to place your order, 15 minutes to put the order in and 20 minutes for the order to be made, then wait another 10 minutes to pay for it. And if you want anything stupid say a refill on rice from a female waitress - expect to get dirty looks or charged an extra $1.\t\n\t\n

A great place for fresh all you can eat sushi!

I have been to Sushi on Summerlin probably 10 times over the last couple of years, and I have never had a bad experience there. It is a fairly small place, so sometimes when it's busy it can take a bit of time for your rolls to arrive, but if you sit at the sushi bar instead of a table you will never wait, the sushi chefs will take you order while you're eating and have the next thing ready by the time you're done eating what you have. The menu does say "all you can eat in 1 hour", but I've never actually been timed, and usually we are there for well over an hour. The service has always been friendly and familiar- it is generally the same handful of wait staff. I'm not a sushi expert, so I can't say what is high class sushi.... but I can tell you that everything here always tastes delicious and is fresh- your sushi is made to order, not set out on a buffet table. I'm a die hard Sushi on Summerlin fan!

THE best sushi in Las Vegas

This place serves the absolute best sushi in Las Vegas. I go at least 2 times a month. When my sister comes to visit from the east coast she always makes plans to eat here. The Volcano Roll is to die for. I also love the Mexican roll. Since it is a small place, it does get busy at times, but I have never experienced bad customer service. The wait staff are always courteous and friendly. I have been coming to this place for years and would recommend it to anyone!
