Incredible food, amazing views, great staff AND RESERVATIONS

First and most important, the food is incredible! I had the Filet Mignon ($26) , my husband had the Linguine Olivia ($22), and our daughter had the Shrimp Scampi ($24). All entrees come with bread, salad, potato and vegetables. Obviously very affordable for what you get. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and treated us very well. Jeff was so great at making sure we had everything we needed. GREAT service! Definitely ask for him!

The views are amazing from almost every spot inside the place, and they had no problem with people going outside on the patio to take pictures as the sun was setting (too cold for outside dining when we went).

The one thing I would strongly recommend is call in advance (a couple days, if possible) and make reservations, even if there are only two people in your party and REQUEST A TABLE NEXT TO A WINDOW or if the weather is comfortable for outside dining, ask for seating outside. They WILL make every effort to seat you where you ask. We were lucky enough to get the Northwest corner because WE REQUESTED IT! (yes xenohumph, that was for you!)

Great View and Tiramisu

I have went to this restaurant many times, and yes it doesn't keep up with the big city restaurants, but it is Moab. Nothing is too fancy. The Pasta Olivia is great, and the Tiramisu is perfect made on location-- not some premade trucked in product. Have had a few romantic evenings there. Sit in the upper dining room, or on the patio the view is better. The history of the building is very interesting... Who would've thought Moab and WWII?!

We were not good enough for them.

Popular judging from the line. No reservations except for groups of 6 +. You go there for the view on Moab.
The hostess was cold and rude. She would not give us the only table left with a view and in the shade. They said that they wanted to put 6 people there, not just 2. They never say that particular table was reserved. We explain again: we are here for the view, intend to spend $150 with wine, and we think we deserve that particular table, the only one left with a view and not in the sun. That table is the same size as the ones nearby where only couples are seated. No way, they did not want to give us the only good table they had left. Me and my husband were not good enough for them. We left. And yes, the table we wanted was still free.
