About Skills Career Education Center

Skills Career Education Center is located in Amherst, Ma and is licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We provide individualized, hands-on job training that is self-paced so that each student can learn and acquire knowledge at their own comfort level. Our instructors are fully experienced in their field and help each individual student receive the know-how and expertise needed for today’s employment opportunities.
Here at Skills we offer a wide range of learning opportunities in the areas of Business Technology; Secretarial Procedures, Bookkeeping and QuickBooks, Medical Office Technology; Medical Billing/Medical Coding, Medical Terminology and Medical Office Procedures and Administration. We also offer Certificate Courses in Computer Software Skills for the Workplace; MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Publisher, and MS PowerPoint.
Skills is open throughout the year and offers rolling enrollment schedules which allow students to begin their training program at any time during the year.
