Totally made my day! luv luv

You ever wake up and have one of those days when you feel blah.... Today was that day, Until I went to Rocco & Rocco. I called and made a same day appointment, the receptionest suggested a stylist named Courtney. I have to admit I was worried because of the same day appointment and how my morning was going that this may not have been the best idea. Boy was I wrong! I got to the salon and was greeted by the receptionist, she gave me a refreshment and I waited for about 5 minutes. Courtney met me and walked me back to her chair, she listened to my concerns and gave me beautiful color, and a great cut. Way better than I expected! The girl even took the time to style my hair and explain how. THEN... when she walked me to the front after we were finished she gave me a coupon for 10 dollars off! Score! great hair and a discount. She is Fabulous, everybody was so nice and I have a beautiful new look. Run dont walk girlfriends, this place is for sure a fav.

The land of the orange

I just started going to Rocco & Rocco this past summer because the salon I go to is in the city and was inconvenient to get to. My boyfriend and his dad as well as a few of my mom's friends all go to Rocco & Rocco and recommended it and the location is ten minutes from my house so I figured I would try it out. \t\n\t\nI called the salon one afternoon and spoke to a very rude woman who seemed extremely displeased that she had to talk to me. I asked her recommendation for a trendy stylist and she led me to Dana D. I ended up making an appointment for later that day and I was greeted by a less than friendly staff. I couldn't help but notice how chaotic the salon seemed, and how orange all of the employees looked. The girl who washed my hair didn't say one word to me besides introducing herself. Once I was shampooed, I sat waiting in Dana's chair. When she finally showed up she was not at all friendly and didn't say more than a few sentences the entire time, I got the cut I wanted, however the customer service was completely lacking. \t\n\t\nThis seems to be a common thread among my visits to Rocco & Rocco. I have gone back maybe 2 or 3 more times because it is convenient and hey I'll take a pretty good hair cut for $35. The scenario has been the same on every occasion: rude employees that act burdened that they have to check me in and offer me water, shampoo girls that make it very apparent how much they dislike their job, and unfortunately, a hair stylist who can't seem to get rid of me fast enough. \t\n\t\nIf you can look beyond all the attitude from multiple people, lots of waiting around for people to show up, inappropriate work attire, and an extremely loud salon, you can get a pretty decent hair cut for a good price.

Small-town salon too busy for big-city spa feel

A little competition, I'm sure, would improve how Rocco and Rocco defines its spa experience. It's convenient and that's why I think it draws a crowd ... I've been a client there for nearly two years. My experience is that services are sacrificed because overbooking makes detailed care a second priority. I often feel that I'm processed through a car wash of services--especially getting my hair cut--and that an obvious get-them-in-and-out philosophy is paramount to building a reputation based on quality. The environment is often hurried, unorganized and loud. At the desk, I'm usually asked to wait and there always seems to be confusion or hurried chaos. I usually leave underwhelmed and perhaps a bit disappointed ... especially when I get a big-city bill for a less than a big-city experience.
