UNTRUSTWORTHY-BEWARE. Richard came to my home to fix a Water Heater and a dryer, he said he needed to get parts for the water heater and he needed $100 cash to get same. I gave him the cash and he came back with parts about 45minutes later. Then after looking at the dryer
he said he needed to go and get parts for that too, obviously all this was on the clock. He could have done this by checking both issues and making one trip for parts. I have no problem with the work he did and we had agreed on a $500 fee but when he wrote the invoice for $500 he did not subtract the $100 cash I had given him and I didn't realize until after he left. I called him the same day and he told me he thought it was his tip ! I asked him to come back with the cash
and he said business was slow and he couldn't afford it but he would pay it back. We played phone tag for a few weeks each time he promised me the money.2 months later he has not honored his debt and I doubt he ever will.
