There is no place more revolting

Disgusting. Regularly gets healthcode violations. Fat flies are always flying around. The tables are FILTHY. The food is dripping with grease. The waiters pick at their teeth and their buts and then handle your food. Whenever I walk by at night, I see rats coming in and out their back door (service door) every night. It's nauseating. I am always stunned that anyone even ventures in there at all. I am no neat freak but I don't want to eat swine flu along with my dinner.\t\n\t\n

Best chai, great biryani, 24 hour Pakistani heaven

This place is great, unless of course you're one of the Jackson Heights gentrifiers who'd prefer a $24 plate of lamb in a sanitized and completely inauthentic environment. Kabab King is a neighborhood staple and a personal favorite. Their chai is to die for, and their food is heavenly, albeit on the greasy side. (They haven't bought into the health-food trend that's sure to kick in once the neighborhood is fully invaded by Astoria overflow. Then, I'm sure you can chomp down a tofu kabob and wash it down with a chai-tini.) Anyway, give Kabob King's lamb a shot - don't be chicken!

Kabab King is a madhouse...

Kabab King is mobbed by people, both upstairs and down, and their current facilities seem unable to handle the crowd. On the other hand, the food is truly authentic Pakistani cuisine-- very well-prepared and tasty. It's a pity that the facilities are inadequate. Service is very spotty and unprofessional. The upstairs dining room could use a thorough cleanup, rearrangement, and reorganization. The ambience is that of a cafeteria rather than a dining hall.
