Queen of Cakes

I have been using Queen of Cakes for over 5 years...for my daughters wedding and for birthday cakes and other treats throughout the years. My experience with QofC has been positive and the cakes have always surpassed my expectations in taste, quality and appearance. They are careful to get your thoughts and ideas down on paper, making a sketch of the cake to be sure it is what you had in mind. I highly recommend Queen of Cakes and prefer it to other bakeries that I have tried in town.

After meeting with the owner of Queen of Cakes for over an hour 6 months before our wedding, we expected our cake to look exactly as we explained. When we showed up to our wedding, we discovered a childish looking embarrassment of a wedding cake. When we confronted the owner, she blamed us for not explaining what we wanted- and discovered she took NO notes during our meeting! How unprofessional! Refused to refund the amount we requested (which was not the full amount, which would have been more appropriate!) Refunded minimal amount and will not take responsibility for her mistakes. I would suggest going elsewhere.
