Physicians Immediate Med Family Practice and Minor

I went here with my son who had a foot injury. It took an hour to see the doctor although they were not busy. \t\nWe finally saw the doctor (Smith) who was very friendly, took x-rays, told us there were no broken bones and my son should try to walk on it as much as possible to exercise it. He sold us an expensive stiff plastic "shoe" that you strap on to limit flex. I asked for a copy of the x-ray and they gave me a DVD.\t\nTwo days later my son's symptoms were not improving so we took him to Children's Hospital emergency room, the wait there was 15 min, they took x-rays and told us there were 3 broken bones in his foot and because we had been telling him to walk on it the bones were slightly misaligned. They set a cast and we were on our way home with cast in 1.5 hours.\t\nWhen we got home there was a message on our answering machine from Physicians Urgent Care telling us they had an x-ray tech review our x-rays (two days after the visit) and there was a broken bone and we should get it treated.\t\nI called them to complain, and to get a refund for the piece of plastic and they very rude. After 4 unsuccessful attempts to speak with their office manager I finally spoke with her and she told me they don't have x-ray technicians on site, they send them out to be analyzed off site, they can't read x-rays so the doctor should not have told us there were no broken bones. \t\nThree weeks after the visit I received a bill in the mail for another fee that was not covered by insurance. \t\nDon't go here, from my experience they are incompetent and unapologetic about it.
