They take advantage of their policy when prescribing medication. Policy is Dr Miranda needs to see child every 3-6 months before renewing control script when in fact she actually means every 3 months. Then you have to pay for a visit fee only to be given the new script refill. FAIL!

I understand the frustration when it comes to getting my child into the physician. I, however, have found a wonderful new pediatrician in Westover Hills. They will have the nurse speak with you to determine the urgency of the appointment and they WILL work you in. The Pediatrician is wonderful with my child and she really enjoys seeing her. She doesn't believe in medicating a child if it is not necessary. Both physicians in the office have a holistic approach to treatment. Its amazing to go to an office where I can be seen in the same office as my child. The staff is courteous and polite. I would recommend Dr. Sky Izaddoost and Dr. Brandon Bolfing at North HIlls Family Medicine and Pediatrics to anyone.

I have been taking my children here for 2 years now and i am finally looking for a new doctor. Everytime I call to make an appointment, i get put on hold for at least 10 minutes, sometimes longer, only for the receptionist to come back on the line and tell me they do not have any available appointments! Sometimes they can get them in the next day, and if it is a Friday, which always seems to be when my kids are in desperate need of medical attention, they have never been able to see them because they are booked even if i call right when they open, and they close at noon on Fridays, even though their website and recording on the phone says they are open until 5pm! It doesn't matter if your infant is running 104 or whatever, they WILL NOT SEE THEM! So we have to end up taking the babies to an emergency room on a weekday, during the day, just because their own doctor couldn't see them! Their website also claims to have same day sick visits which is completely untrue!! Also, I received a bill for my infant daughter and was being charged for several flu shots that she has NEVER received! I am very dissappointed with the service here and will be searching for a new pediatrician!
