Passport Travel / Amex

I walked into Passport Travel only because I had an appointment next door and was planning to go home and book our winter break mexico trip that evening at home. I had done most of my research and had pretty much determined what I wanted to do, where to stay, etc. I saw the American Express Travel sign and thought I'd pick their brain as to what they thought about my ideas. They loved them and insisted on getting a quote for me to. Within minutes I had found out vital information that the internet had failed to tell me - the much needed swimming pool at the resort I had chosen was going to be closed for rennovation for 4 or the 7 days of my vacatioon. In fact, the agent explained that may have been the reason that this resort was offering some great deals. She was quickly able to find a comparable, actually higher rated, resort nearby which had all of it's facilities in tact and the price was lower. I was actually skeptical but just returned from my vacation and can tell you it was one of the best ever. I will use Passport Travel again in the future.
