Reviews about Oscar's Cigars
Southside Best Cigar Shop!
Gary is the owner, he and his staff are knowledgable when it comes to cigars. You will always have great conversation because people like hanging out instead of leaving. Flat screen, music and reading material all on hand. BTW Oscar's doen not close until like 1 or 2 in the morning on weekends!

Plenty of good conversation.
Good selection of cigars, and a knowledgable staff.
Come by, bring your own wine or spirits and enjoy a good cigar.
Expensive, staff knowledge questionable
I used to live in Marietta, GA, and have frequented several Cigar shops/lounges in the metro area. I was visiting a friend on Camp Creek Pkwy, and saw the shop from the highway, so me and my friend decided to try them out. The location was nice enough - with a homely type feel to it; however, their cigar prices were borderline outrageous. At a local cigar shop in Marietta, GA, I paid around $8.50 for a CAO Brazilia Amazon; at Oscar's, I paid $10.25. I can understand trying to profit from your business, as well as local area influences on cigar prices. However, this was not the case for just one or two cigar brands. . . on average, their prices were about 30% - 40% higher than local competitor shops. In addition, one staff member in particular's (one of the owners) working knowledge of cigars/cigar brands seemed. . . questionable. . .
Overall, you can get a better bang for your buck at other lounges in the greater ATL area. . .
