small but solid and secure payment system
Pros: This is absolutely the way every online payment should be made. Did you know that Paypal gives out your verified address (likely your home address) to every business you pay, even if they don't need it! And you've always got be somewhat concerned when you are giving out your credit card number online. OpenCuro gives you a "CuroCode" which is basically a code with a cash value, and you give that to the person you are paying instead of your credit card number. OpenCuro doesn't give out any of your information and is more secure. Nice.
Cons: Not too many people are accepting OpenCuro yet, so you gotta explain how it works to people you want to pay. And even though you can receive payments as soon as you sign-up, in order to get money into your account (to make a payment) you have to link a bank account, which can take awhile. Hopefully they can make that process faster, but at least bank transfers are pretty fast once you have your account set-up.
Overall, I say check it out.
