Once Upon A Child

I wouldn't even give this store a star if I didn't have to...Where to begin, I brought up a very good gently used baby stroller with apparently a minor stain after bringing to stroller and a few other items one of the workers looked over my stroller and said she would just have to check the computer so I assumed they would buy it....after waiting an hour and a half for them to finish (mind you I came from Redding CT) with my two young children I was told be cause of this minor stain they couldn't purchase the stroller! Why wasn't it said when first looked over is beyond me and rude! So they offer me 4.40 for the items in my basket, aumming they purchaed on thing I took the measley change they offered and left, when returning home I realiized they took about 6 items including a ver cute pair of black patent leather shoes 2 packs of unopened blankets and some polly pocket figures all for 4.40. Not to mention that one of the girls was extremly rude!

I've been to the store only a few times and I must say I found some really cute things for my toddler son. I filled a bag for only $25 and I even purchased some BabyGap and Gymboree sweaters. I felt their buyback system needs some major improvement in the way its handled. Customers make piles of bags, baby equipment, etc in the front of the store to be sorted through by an employee. It would be much better if they could set something up at the back door of the store to handle this process as these piles are not only physically cumbersome to navigate and shop around, the mess is visually overwhelming. That being said, I will still continue to shop there as well as participate in the buyback program because for economic reasons.
