Reviews about Omnibus Global Translations
Fraud
I did some translation work for this company. I usually check out companies I don't know very carefully before I accept work from them. But, Elias Pereira of Omnibus Global Translations contacted me in July of 2010 with a rush translation which was then canceled. When he contacted me again in October of 2010 I mistakenly thought I had checked them out in July so I accepted the work offered. It was translation for some material on faucets and toilets. I was never paid for the work. I am sure that their customers do not know that they do not pay the translators for their work but I believe that I know who the end customer for my translation was.

A project manager named Sormane Gomes hired me in June 2009 to translate complex medical evaluation forms. It was about a $700 job, so not tiny. The work was completed/delivered in due time and Omnibus never paid, even after numerous emails and 2 phone calls where I spoke with "David" and "Elias" who assured me I'd get paid. My last contact with them was Dec 2009. Still no payment. I'm filing a small claims action. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
