This is a great slope for a skier, but as a snowboarder it is a nightmare. It is close to impossible to mount the T-bar as a 'boarder. There is two ways to do it. Ripped snow pants are an outcome from the first way to mount and breaking a leg becomes dangerously easy even from the smallest mistake. The second way to mount makes a little more sense but in reality is just as bad. If you ware any wrist protection equipment then it is impossible to hold on to the bar, which is required more in the second way to mount. The founders of this slope are clearly not snowboarders... same goes for those who work at the slope.

This place is exactly what a family ski trip should be about -- simple, easy, affordable. No hassles, no attitude. Small rope tow for beginners, t-bar and super-fast rope tow for medium to advanced. Attendants are patient and helpful. A handful of trails and a very social time. Small warming lodge has local beef burgers with Cabot cheese for $3. Lift tickets are $12 on weekends, $5 on Wednesday. Everything is affordable. My entire family of five went for half of the price of just one lift ticket in Stowe. Put a layer of duct tape on your mittens for the rope tow -- and duct tape is kind of the general fashion statement. Super relaxed, super easy, the way a family outing should be.
