Complete Nightmare
I went to New England Physical Therapy Plus after having tendon graft surgery to repair my ankle ligament. Chris worked on me for about a month (about 7-8 visits) and everything was going well. Then they switched offices and Carol took over. She looked at my chart and said I wasn’t doing enough, and had me do much more strenous exercises than I had been doing. The following day extreme pain set in. I ended up being off it for 6 months trying to figure out what happened. I finally tried an articulated AFO brace that allows me to walk on it; I can’t walk without the brace. The whole surgery was a total waste because of 1 night of physical therapy. It’s been a complete nightmare. I got the idea they were more used to dealing with general pain issues than post-surgery rehab. If you need to rehab after surgery I would absolutely stay away.
