Some people just dont get it.
I know it has been a long time since the last post, but I thought I would explain to people that almost any bar you attend that has live music will have a cover. Especially when the band playing is well known in the area and cost a pretty penny. Any business person knows that you cannot just spend thousands of dollars without a way to make it back... DUH! Also, food is REALLY good, especially for being "bar food". There used to be a dancing area, but the stage was built over it. The building has been there for so long and was used for so many different things, I am very impressed they have done with it what they have. Also, it would be hard to build a wooden dance floor on a sloped concrete floor that sometimes has water run across to drain out. Again, very old building that was built for this purpose years ago. Well, just thought I would explain the reasons for what seems to be a big deal to others.

It took over 15 minutes to get a drink Friday night. It's probably because there was over 500 people in the bar. I'm happy there wasn't a fire because everyone in there would be a roasted duck. There was one lady (who later was told was the owner) who was working behind the bar earlier in the night and ended up on our side of the bar before the chaos. She didn't last too long then had to be transported to an office because she passed out around 9-10. I don't know how you can run a bar from the floor of your office. Needless to say, we will not be attending any future events. I'd rather drive the extra 15 miles then come back here.
