I was an excellent tenant for 15 months at the 'Long Brook Apts' Morgan Property in Matawan, NJ....paid my rent on time and never complained about the noisy neighbors. However, when I had to move to NY to begin a new job, I was charged almost $3000 in penalties/fees for 'breaking my lease' before the end date. I have no problem paying a penalty for breaking a lease, but wow, what a racket they got going. I have never been treated so rudely without any regard for employment situation. I didn't want to move to NY, but I HAD to in order to secure the position. This economy is hard on all of us, yet corporate greed is running rampant as usual. I have never had a problem like this in any other apt complexes I have lived in. I gave notice, left the apt in great condition, and this is what I receive. Long Brook apts look nice on the outside, but don't be fooled. If for some reason you are forced to leave before your lease is up, they are going to hit you hard in penalties. Steer clear.

Where do I begin re Morgan Properties& Kingswood Apts,King of Prussia, Pa.You WILL be lied to regarding utilities&they take no responsibility for any of their actions I paid for a yr.but wish I never would have moved. I leased through Cia Nelson. She lied to me&my witness regarding estimated utility payments before I even moved in Never do business with people who practice bait&switch and.lie to rent.I was told utilities would be around $10-15 a mo.JOKE!You won't be told about hidden fees.You will pay for other people's sewer&water! I wish I would have known that! I'm one person who had a family of 5/6 (banging drs,people in&out)who ran water to no end while I'm a conservationist.You will also get a $6.75 bill from a company out of Ca. you won't know until it hits your mailbox.Trash is $5.No peace, no parking new neighbors everyday who bring cockroaches!They will take your security in the end no matter what!When you leave expect a bill going back 4mos.when all is said&done!STAY AWAY!

This place is not kept up well. With Roaches, Rats, Mice and people stealing packages from under mailbox and your rugs at your door even furniture from lobby. Laundry rooms dirty and lots including me have so many roaches I won't be here much longer. they have babies and in my drawers and cupboards all over apt. Elevator stuck constantly and no phone for help . What a place to live in. Cars broken into.
