WORST SHOE REPAIR IN NYC
I took 3 pairs of shoes into this shop and I am so sorry that I did. First of all, they charged me $38 per pair to have new heel taps and 1/2 rubber soles put on the bottom of my shoes!
When I went to pick them up, I noticed that the glue used to put the soles on was smeared all over the sides of the shoes and 2 out fo 3 pairs had 1-2" long cuts in them from whatever tool they used to finish the soles. The other pair was not glued properly and the new sole was already separating at the tip!
Worst of all, they refused to give me a discount and I ended up paying over $100 for ruined shoes.
In contrast, Leather Spa (which is the repair shop recommended by Christian Louboutin boutiques) charges $35 per shoe for the same service, and does an impeccable job.
