Ruined my suit and offered$100 credit to replace a $400 suit

They ruined my suit and offered$100 credit to replace a $400 suit. I brought my suit in to be tailored and since I lost 20 lbs they did a "recut." I noticed that the lapel was popping out and did not look right. I brought it back to the "master tailor" and he said that was how it was supposed to be. I went off to my christmass party and hung the suit up for a few months until I needed it again. When I went to wear it again I still was not happy with the cut so I brought it back to be fixed, but the new tailor at the same location said they could not fix it and it was not fixed correctly previously. Basically the previous tailor ruined it. The manager only offered to give me a $100 credit for a 400 suit. They said that they don't think the tailoring was done there and when I produced a picture showing the same suit with the same lapel problem taken the day after they still did not budge. I guess I will have to wait until we go to court for the situation to be corrected?
