McBee Ted Boring & Excavating

I've been using Mcbee for a couple years now and they do a fantastic job. Very accurate, honest and on-time.

When I sold my home recently, I needed to have the sewer replaced. I went with Ted McBee on the strong recommendation from the buyer's agent, although their sewer estimate was $800 higher than the other one that I got. They said that the water main would also need to be replaced because it was located in the same trench as the sewer. They said I could use my plumber to do the job, so I got an estimate from them for a copper line that was hundreds of dollars less than Ted McBee's plumber was going to charge. At the last minute, McBee threatened to pull out of the job if I used my own plumber, jeopardizing the sale of the house by the closing date. I had to try to reason with them, but was very upset, because they had gone back on their word, and I was being charged twice for the digging of one trench (once by the sewer guys and again by the plumber). In the end, they showed up to dig on the wrong day, and their more expensive plumber used a PLASTIC water main rather than copper. I ended up spending over $1000 more than I would have had I used my original estimate, and literally became sick from the unbelieveable stress that I was caused in an already difficult time.
