Good food, but what's the deal with no oatmeal?
McCarthy's is supposed to be THE breakfast place in Stowe. I came 3000 miles to be in Stowe and during the two times that I ate at McCarthy's--no oatmeal. What's a breakfast place without oatmeal? If it's on the menu, I expect it to be served. If not, a cut off time should be informed as far as when oatmeal is no longer expected to be available. I'm on vacation--I'm not going to get up at the crack of dawn to get my oatmeal at McCarthy's. So, then I hoped to have home fries instead...guess what, they were out of home fries too! \t\n\t\nOtherwise, McCarthy's has a great menu with healthy alternatives and fresh food. However, it's very inconvenient that they do not accept credit cards.
