Maple Leaf Motel

Upon arrival, reservations were not available. When rooms were changed, we found mold, mildew and insects. Everything smelled of mildew which made us sick.

I only choose 1 star because that was as low as the rating goes. This place was a complete dump! The pictures made it look warm and inviting on the web site. Do not be fooled. The rooms all smell awful, there was massive water damage in the cabin we were at, and their pet policy is awful. The pet policy says all dogs must be crated and taken with you on outings. If you are there to hike or swim, this is just not practical and we were evicted after one day for dogs barking. Our family all left and went across the street to the much nicer and comparably priced Drake Motel. I would never stay there again and advise that others steer clear!!!!
