Mai Lee Restaurant

My family used to love coming here when they were at their old location. Since moving to the new location, the menu has been changed and prices have gone up. This is now considered to be a higher quality Vietnamese restaurant though I've had better Pho (Vietnamese soup) and fresher ingredients at cheaper and faster restaurants Pho Grand and Lemongrass. \t\nI came here with my sister a few months ago and she ordered what she thought was something from the old menu but ended up getting something quite different and not the best. After two bites she decided she wanted to ask if they had brought the right dish but the waiter didn't come back to check on us for at least 20-30 minutes. By the time he came back she was so hungry that she had eaten about half her plate. The waiter had to get the manager in order to send back our dish and the manager made some snide comments about us half the dish being gone and reluctently directed us to a dish that more resembled what we had remembered from the old menu. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the manager and will probably not come back due to his pissy attitude.

Mai Lee has the most Delicious Vietnamese cuisine I have ever tasted...My Fiance and I have been comming in for over 3 years and it is our Absolute Favorite Resturant in STL...Not just because of the food But because of the Hospitality. All of the employees know us by name, they remember our favorite dishes, strike up genuine and entertaining conversation and make sure everything is perfect for us every single time...They treat us as if one of the family and go out of their way to show us a better time than before every time....Quy...Anh Yeu Em-We love you Man

FOOD IS WONDERFUL..........IF YOU DO A CARRY OUT, MAKE DARN SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ORDER...I AM SO TIRED OF NOT GETTING WHAT I ORDERED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
