In 1998 my wife sent full payment for a round trip tickets to Spain. Ms. Sanghvi would not accept credit card, so a check was mailed. I waited several weeks and had not received tickets. Called the airline and they did not have reservations for us. I had to contact the NYC Consumer Fraud Division, in order to obtain a refund. Mina sent four checks, the last one bounced. I again had to contact NYC Cons. Fraud and have them contact her. SHE AND HER BUSINESS IS A FRAUD! She has also done business under the names of: Consumer Wholesale Tickets, CWT Vacations, Maharaja Travel Inc.

I forgot to rate Maharaja Travels. It does not deserve even one star!!!!

I purchased tickets from Mina Sanghvi for my trip to India. That was in 1997. She collected the payment well ahead of our departure time and did not send us the tickets until the day before our departure. That too after so many phone calls. She changed our itinerary couple of times after collecting the money from us.Finally the one she gave us had 4 stops on the way to India and while returning did not confirm our reservation beyond Mumbai. She advised us to bribe the Gulf Air employee at the airport to get the confirmation beyond Mumbai. We had to change our departure from India and thanks to the generosity of United Airlines we came back to USA safely. Since then I have decided never to buy ticket from her and warn anyone in our circle not buy from her even if the airfare is cheap. After reading these reviews about Maharaja Travels, I firmly believe that no one should buy tickets from her..
