Macy's

Very, very crowded and dated. Bathrooms have carpeting which is terribly worn on lower level and store just seems runned down. Service people are friendly, but very scarce. The store itself and amount of stuff shoved in there give it a very low class feel. It's been said before but it is nowhere near what it was when it Marshall Fields. I only shop at this store when in a pinch for makeup now.

This store is a mess. I can't find anything. I was looking for a bracelet and asked them to call Macy's Oakbrook. They were too busy. I called Oakbrook myself. They answered the phone in jewelry, set it down & left me hanging for half an hour. I called back & asked to speak to a manager. The operator connected me to furniture and bedding which was closed by that time of night. I called back again. They connected me to gift wrap. It sounds laughable but I was so frustrated. I never have any luck at Macy's. The salespeople aren't helpful, the Orland store is poorly laid out. My friends say the same thing. I will never go in there or shop online again. It's impossible.
