Lucky Buffet

Granny's is new to the area and we decided to give it a try.We could have gone to Ruby Tuesday's , Fred's Market or Burger King. But we chose Granny's....BIG MISTAKE!It used to be a Chinese buffet,they didnt change the decor,first red flag.They make you pay first.which causes a jam at the front door for those trying to escape, I mean leave.second red flag. Cant see the food from the entrance,third red flag. The food......Fried chicken: Looked good,tasted dry,overcookedCrawfish: Looked great,until you opened them and find the meat had turned into mud bug jerky.Vegetables:They looked and tasted canned or frozen.Mashed Potatoes:90% water,no flavor Steak

Having to give this place a star, is more credit than it deserves!!! I would only recommend this nasty, uneatable food to you if you were constipated and needed a good clean out or want explosive diarrhea! everyone I know who has ate there so far walks out feeling Ill! I truly have never seen such a filthy,dirty place that serves food in my life! I just can't believe this place has not gotten shut down. but I should have know how the inside/food would be by the way the entrance looks. The front door entrance of the buffet is lined with old dirty dining room chairs (interior furniture from previous owners ) for all the smokers to sit and smoke including the employees/owners. so you the door opens all you smell is smoke and can see it rolling in the door. every time someone opens the door you walk into a cloud of smoke entering and exiting the restaurant . the Ice cream is the large 3 gallon containers with one old school scoop that every body touches and then scoops icecream!!!

The Lucky Buffet at 9618 US HWy 301 S, in Riverview, FL has been closed since 2/2012. We now have Granny's Buffet located in the same quarters. They are a Steak
