Long Island Spine Specialists PC

I was so worried about my back pain and scared that I would never be able to do all of the activities that I have always done. I have always lead an active life and the thought of not being able to exercise, go biking, swimming or running was devastating. I went to Long Island Spine Specialists and saw Dr. Abbasi. He was very kind to me and he did some xrays in the office but he needed further testing so I went for an MRI and he when I saw him again he was so patient with me explaining to me my condition & the treatment I needed. It turned out all I needed was an injection from Dr. Abbasi & some physical therapy & now I am pain free & back to my usual activities. I am so grateful to Dr. Abbasi for all that he did for me and for all of the kindness I was shown by his staff as well!!

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience going to Long Island Spine Specialists, PC. The staff there is so kind and I am always greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello. I have seen different physicians there and they are all so sweet and kind. They all take the time to explain everything to me and they have the best bed side manner that I have ever experienced. Their office is beautiful and the Doctors and Physician Assistants there are so smart and knew exactly what was wrong with me and how to treat it!! I am pain free now and I have nothing but good days now thanks to Long Island Spine Specialists!!!!

The staff is horrible. They are very rude and stuck up. I have been going to dr mermelstein for 4 months. He is the most arrogant dr I have ever met. I told him is was having bad upper back pain. He said it's just a strain. After begging him for 2 months to get a MRI of upper back he finally appeased me. Needless to say I have NUMEROUS disc herniations in that area. I do not recommend these doctors to anyone. They are all about the $$.
