Lone Maple Sales & Service

I have been an occasional customer of Lone Maple parts counter off and on since 1987. Anytime I needed a part for my 67 year old John Deere they would try their best,and almost always either have it or find it. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. My experience with the sales folks is quite different. While shopping for a good used tractor/backhoe to replace my 1967 backhoe Lone machine that would meet my needs. I was engaged in negotiations with a salesman whom I finally got to talk to when someone came rudely through the office and turned off all the lights, saying it was quitting time. It was about mid-day on a Saturday. Two months later I purchased a backhoe elsewhere.Again, on September 6, 2012 I was was looking at a JD X748 lawn tractor. I sat on the seat, lifted the hood, walked around it a number of times but after being absolutely ignored for 10 or 15 minutes by the sales staff I finally left. Five stars for the parts folks and 2 for the sales folks,
