Many of our appointments are in the evening hours and weekends. So, if you happen to walk by the store and we appear to be closed, don't be alarmed. Our appointment-only approach is specifically designed to best serve our clients.

Our third floor showroom offers a wide selection of fine jewelry from our excellent quality diamonds for engagement, anniversary, or commitment rings, to antique and period piece jewelry. Our inventory of jewelry and gift items are sure to meet your taste from the eclectic to the more traditional design ideas.

Are you a first-time buyer looking for that special diamond (or other gem), engagement ring? Do you find yourself anxious about this buying experience and have concerns about trust? London West Gems understands the anxiety that you may experience. Therefore, we offer a Diamond Education Course which offers the participant a one-on-one consultation with one of our diamond experts. This "hands on" course is tailored to meet the individual learning needs of our clients, (usually about 2 to 3 hours). This opportunity, free of charge, is a must for those who are making a first time diamond jewelry purchase. You will learn how to look inside diamonds with the assistance of a professional jeweler's loupe (a 10X magnifying glass that folds within its metal case). You will also see how different gemological tools are used to authenticate a diamond to be certain that what you are buying is truly a diamond versus other white gems that may be "real", but are NOT diamonds. We provide a complimentary loupe as well as other helpful information tools during this experience. This learning experience also discusses the differences in precious metals used to create the setting for the gem stone(s).

London West Gems is also the place to shop for your wedding attendant's gifts, wedding jewelry, accessories, etc. with personal service.

In addition to our fine diamonds and jewelry selection, London West Gems, at this time, is the only secondary retail establishment in the Midwest offering hand painted diminutive enamel "pill boxes" made in England. Much more distinctive than a pill box, these English enamel boxes are objects-d'art where some boxes have received distinctive Royal Warrants from the HRM Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal Family. Purveyors such as Halcyon Days Enamels, Staffordshire, Crummles, Moorcroft, and Elliot Hall Enamel boxes are available at London West Gems.

We also offer a limited selection of high quality small antiques. Any selection(s) made receive our unique gift wrapping.

In addition, there is a 1:64 scale hand crafted replica of the British battle ship, "Sovereign of the Seas", encased in glass--not for sale, but sure to please the nautical, or nautical history enthusiast. Children who have visited our showroom refer to the ship as the "Pirate Ship" as it is a spectacular replica.
