About Lindys Landing

Lindy's is a family owned and operated restaurant, bar and marina on Bangs Lake in Wauconda, IL.

Three generations and more than 45 years later Lindy’s Landing is still going strong. Lindy’s three daughters (Laurie, Cheryl and Bonnie) still operate the business today along with Lindys’ five grandchildren (Brittany, Kellen, Rachel, Carly and Bradley) and amazing staff. As a family, we continue to commit ourselves to keeping the Lindy’s spirit alive for many generations to come. With your continued support we look forward to celebrating 50 years of Lindy’s Landing in 2015.

We are located 115 Park st. in downtown Wauconda with a beautiful view of Bangs Lake. Lindy's opens daily at 11:00 am. There is live music every Saturday from 9pm-1am. Come and enjoy daily food and drink SPECIALS!

A PLACE WHERE THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG!!!!

RANCID FOOD, STEALING BIG MONEY FROM PEOPLE, ABUSIVE, TOUCHES YOU,
KICKS YOU OUT WHEN YOU ASK ABOUT BLATANT OVER-CHARGES. THINKS THEY ARE UNTOUCHABLE! SO SELF-IMPORTANT THAT THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT, WITH NO REAL REASON! CONSTANT FIGHTS THERE AND POLICE CALLS. THREE OF THEIR PATRONS BROKE ANOTHER MAN'S FACE AT THEIR EVENT. PEOPLE PEE IN LAKE IN PUBLIC, DRUNK.

Bar is GREAT / Food - Restraunt - Not so much

Have been there many times since they remodeled. The place looks great. The bar is very nice. Food is very expensive and portions are fairly small for the price. I will say the staff we have had is good.

We have eaten there about 5 times. Every time has been a HUGE disappointment. They offer things on their item that they do not have.

I have been there 2 times when they are out of french fries so you get chips with your burger?

Reuben Special at 12 noon and they are out of Reubens? Left and went to the other place which was cheaper anyway.

Prime Rib - So thin you could almost read a paper through it. Complained and got another piece which was acceptable. Should have never been served that way to begin with. The waitress was also a little surprised.
