We called to order a cannoli cake for a birthday. We were told that we didn't need to, they always had them, and the man we talked to wouldn't take an order. When we showed up to get a cake, the clerk basically laughed at us and said they had to be special ordered. When we asked for at least a discount if we ordered one then for the next day (AFTER THE BIRTHDAY) we were told no way. Special occasions are special for a reason and we will not be relying on them anymore for anything other than cannoli if we go back at all.

We venture across the bridge to 9th street about once a month. Isgro's is a must visit. This is an awesome Italian bakery. The cannoli are perfect. They have pastries and cakes suited to the seasons and many regular items from tira misu ...
