Interstate Block & Brick Company

When ordering gravel for my driveway from Dale at Interstate Block & Brick he assured me that they would spread the gravel to the best of their abilities, but that they did not guarantee the spread, however, we would be able to drive on it. After waiting almost a month per their recommendations due to rainy conditions as the composite gravel we ordered would spread more easily when not wet they finally made the delivery. When I returned home from work I couldn't even get into my driveway! It was more like a motocross track then a driveway and to top it all off they ran over and crushed one of my brick planters adjacent to the driveway. I called immediately and spoke with Billy who immediately gave me the run around stated that he would speak with the owner Brad Foster and call me back. In the meantime my neighbor was kind enough to allow us to park our cars in their driveway. To make matters worst they did not call me back that night or the next day, therefore, I called them back spoke with Billy and requested that they at least come out to take a look at the mess they made of the driveway and the crushed brick planter and just do the right thing. I explained to Billy that I had taken pictures and it is obvious to everyone who sees the pictures that their driver messed up in a big way! Billy eluded that the driver was a new hire has only been working for Interstate Block and Brick for less than two weeks. Billy stated again that he would speak with the owner about coming to take a look at the mess. Again I received no call back, therefore, the next day I took the pictures down to Interstate Block and Brick and showed Billy and I could tell by his expression he new it was a mess but stated that we would need to speak with Brad Foster the owner who conveniently was not on the premises and they could not give me a set time of when he would be in the office only that he was in and out. I asked if he could have Mr. Foster give me a call It has almost been a week now and I still have not received a call. I had to hire someone with a tractor to spread the gravel as some spots were 2 to 2 1/2 ft. thick in some spots and the entrance to the driveway was 3 ft hills, therefore, this was a $250.00 expense I was not expecting and in addition now I have to hire someone to rebuild a new brick planter which I doubt will match the other four existing ones that the driver did not run over! so DO NOT TRUST BRAD FOSTER OR INTERSTATE BLOCK COMPANY, INC. THEY WANT THE MONEY BUT DON'T STAND BY THERE WORD!
