Hunter Lake Campground

Its a very clean campground, Great place for families that have children under 7, or retired. I personally would never go back, I didn't like the fact that I was locked in at night, that wouldn't have been so bad if there was someone at the gates to let you in or out, I was very nervous the whole weekend, it seemed like every camp was getting into some kind of trouble, either for a guest, parking, noise, it was always something. it was the most quiet campground ever, basically no talking after 11, The way they talked to you was ridiculous never a please or a polite way, more the fact like my son is a C.O., I wanted to go camping not to a prison camp, We are not the loud party people, don't think that. We do like to have a few beers playing horseshoes, sit around the camp fire at night to reminisce and laugh a little. It is a very close knit seasonal campground, weekenders are not made to feel welcome at all. I am 42 years old and do not need to be spoken down to or babysat.
