Reviews about Hotel Mac Restaurant
extraordinary rudeness
Yesterday, my wife called the Hotel Mac Restaurant to ask whether they were doing something special for Valentine's Day. The person who answered the phone said: "Yeah, we're staying open, and we're not raising our prices." \t\n\t\nSomeone in the background laughed.\t\n\t\nWe went to Zazie, in San Francisco, for brunch. Everything about Zazie was wonderful.\t\n\t\nIt was reasonable to ask the Hotel Mac Restaurant about Valentine's Day. I have called before, asked exactly the same question, and learned that they were having a special brunch or dinner.\t\n\t\nIn most e-mail advertisements that the Restaurant sends out, the words "Sincerely, Andrew Burnett" are at the bottom. I called today, thinking that Mr. Burnett might want to know about the call yesterday.\t\n\t\nThis is exactly how the call went:\t\n\t\n Hi, may I speak with Mr. Burnett?\t\n\t\n This is Mr. Burnett speaking.\t\n\t\n Hi, Mr. Burnett. My name is Paul Wilson. I wanted to let you know about a situation yesterday ...\t\n\t\n Mr. Wilson, you're calling a restaurant right in the middle of lunch!\t\n\t\n Oh, well, I ...\t\n\t\nHe hung up on me.\t\n

The private wine cellar for intimate/romantic dinners. You can reserve this anytime you please and they give you about 2 hours and nobody else other than your wait staff is in the room with you. It is a very nice treat. It doesn't cost extra. Extensive menu from standard beef items, like steaks, prime rib, normally a catch of the day, a selection of different pastas, chicken. Normal fare\t\n\t\n
