Don't trust Home Pride Properties! If you are considering selling your house to Home Pride properties through their owner financed transaction, DON'T. They will sell you a good story but it's all lies. They will pay you some cash up front and offer to take over your mortgage to rent it until they "sell" it. What they don't tell you is they will cash out immediately by taking out a very hefty lien on the property for every ounce of equity. Moreover, they will stop paying the mortgage in your name letting it go through foreclosure, ruining your credit. They won't even tell you they stopped paying. Bottom line, they are crooks that will rob you and extort you! It has cost me over $12,000 in lawyer fees in the past two years just to get the keys back to my home so that I can rent it out on my own. To add insult to injury, they refused to give me my title back and took out a $50,000 lien against my home. DON'T TRUST THEM! THEY WILL LEAD YOU TO FORECLOSURE AND FINANCIAL RUIN!

Please don't sell yourhome to home pride properties. I sold a home to them in 2005 and They have not sold the house nor have they kept the mortgage current and it is showing a negative rating on my credit report because the home is still in my name, now the home is going in forclosure. Beware!
