Reviews about Hog Island Deli
tomato basil soup = water
ordered the tomato basil soup yesterday & at $4.50 for a cup- I certainly expected it to be good. It was watery & flavorless.\t\n\t\nUsually this restaurant delivers better quality.

This is my first review, and after giving Hog Island a second try I had to let you know how awful their service is. The food is not bad but they are NOT set-up for catering, no matter what they tell you. The first time we used them for an office meeting they were late, part of the order was omitted and there was not enough food to go around. (how embarrassing for both of us!) They have a serious problem with portion control, customer service, scheduling and staff training. We routinely use many of the local sandwich shops for seminars and meetings and are always looking for something new & different. Unfortunately they failed us miserably, twice. The first time, ok, everybody deserves a second chance right? I thought they cared about having our business, but twice now they have been late, and not too concerned about it. This is a business as they should be, but don't take scheduling very seriously.\t\nToday we lost precious time to hear from a speaker that had to leave for another engagement. One-third of our meeting time was lost due to their poor organization.\t\nI have to tell you, DO NOT consider these guys for any catering event, they will RUIN - IT in some way or another.\t\nI can recommend Which Wich, Jimmy John's and Schlotzsky's they are always on time or early and we have never run out of food!\t\nThanks for listening.
