My overall fav place in manhattan. High quality without the outrageous prices. Traditional, consistent, simple, delicious, won't empty your account. My kind of sushi place.

It is as high quality as Sushi Yasuda without the crazy price.\t\n\t\nWe ordered Box of Dream and the Restaurant week dinner. Everything is fresh and tasty. I love love love the toro, uni, eel mini bowl. Ikura egg was not too salty and tamago egg was sweet right to the point. The Tazamian ocean trout carpaccio was nicely seasoned too.\t\nEverything was presented beautifully.\t\nThe restaurant was very busy and packed on a Wednesday night. Many midtown Caucasian businessmen were here\t\n\t\nIt is not cheap but with the quality, definitely worth it.

Hatsuhana is a traditional sushi house - a true classic left amid the trendy new sushi restaurants that boast japanese fusions, loud music, glamourous atmosphere. \t\n\t\nThe fish is so fresh that you can eat all sashimi - all of which melts on your tongue. Also, they make an amazing salmon skin roll. \t\n\t\nHatsuhana reminds you of why sushi became so popular without creating crazy "alternate sushi" to tempt the consumer. \t\n\t\nAlso, the green tea and miso soup are very good as well as the salmon skin hand roll.\t\n\t\nIf you frequent this spot a lot, the sushi chef is able to make an outstanding menu to suit your palate (very good!)\t\n\t\nThe way that delivery is packed is also very elegant and beautiful. \t\n\t\nBottom line: Fantastic service, Excellent quality sushi/sashimi, traditional chef, clean atmosphere
