I have been frequenting this palce since they first opened ( with the original owners). Back then, it was a small seafood joint, with booths and they even had a juke box and sold pizza in the back. Now, they have becoe a very upscale restaurant and have the very best shrimp with the biscuits. I usually get them in a medium sauce. They also have a very good meat sauce. The prices are a bit high for Williamsburg / Greenpoint but you pay for what you get. This place beats many Manhattan eateries.

I would indeed have thrown it in the garbage first. Been to this place twice before in '07 (both times on a Saturday) and the food was amazing. I went there last night (a Tuesday) and was disgusted. No one should feel as if they are about to lose their stomach when eating a meal. In retrospect, I should have just walked out but I soldiered on. And this is how good the food had been in the past. I thought, clearly, it must be me and my taste buds. \t\n\t\nI suppose a lot could change within a year. Maybe the "chef-in-training" has the kitchen on Tuesday nights, I don't know. All I know is that I will never go back to Frost Restaurant. Judging from the server being more into the game on TV than delivering my bill, I take it that they have completely fallen off the radar and are slow every day of the week. The server actually paused and stared at the TV for about 40 seconds en route to my table with my bill. I could not sign my name fast enough. The food took about 5 minutes to arrive at my table but it was undercooked and just plain disgusting. \t\n\t\nIt is not a convenient walk from the L train station. Not worth it at all.
