Overpriced, Under-delivered

To be fair, I went to Fortune Cookie with someone who had not been there for a few years, but was very excited to go back. Apparently a lot has changed--including the quality of the food and the price that they charge for it. $10/person for dinner seemed a little steep, but I thought that if it was good quality food, it would be worth it. However, everything was lukewarm--whether it was supposed to be hot or cold. The steaks that are cooked to order were cooked Med. Rare although ordered Med. Well. The waiter was forgetful, to say the least--we had to call him over to get drink refills or ask for a cracker for the crab legs. The crab legs tasted frozen, then reheated to lukewarm. The "hot butter" was room temperature. Ultimately my favorite dish, crab wonton, was ruined by stale, overcooked wraps and hardly any meat inside them. So disappointed. Not worth the money.

Better than others but not the best

If your looking for authentic chinese food this is not it. It is a typical Chinese American buffet, plenty of selection most tasting the same. But compare to other places it is clean, the food looks fresher and they have a grill for steaks (what they call steaks anyway). Not great but can fullfill the hunger. Service is good, your tables get cleared off quickly. They have a chocolate fountain with an assortment of fruits for the chocoholics, ice cream and little cookies and cakes. The flan tastes like real egg custard. If your into seafood, there is little to none. Overall it is okay to try once in awhile but not regularly, mostly fried foods and not too healthy.
