About First Baptist Academy
As a private Christian school, First Baptist Academy is consistently ranked among the best high school and college prep schools in the area. 90 percent of students go on to attend the top high school of their choice, and 100 percent of students are admitted to at least their second choice school. First Baptist is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and enrolls its students in the National Society for the Gifted and Talented (NSGT) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). At least 25 percent of its seventh grade students have qualified to participate in Duke University’s Talent Identification Program, taking the SAT during their seventh grade year.
