slumlord

In response to the slumlord claim. This individual was responsible for putting the utilities in his name per the lease agreement. He made no attempt to get the service turned on. This individual is from out of town and does not understand that. It is not our responsibility, it was his. This individual signed a 1 year lease and did not follow through with his own tenant responsibilities. I could of taking him to court for not full filling his lease terms. However, I let him out of his lease and proceeded to rent the unit and they had no issues getting the utilities turned on within a day.

Slumlords

If you have an opportunity to rent from Fifth Ward Development, run away immediately. I have just rented a flat on Sept 1st, it is now the 15th and I still have not been able to occupy the apartment. No gas, no electricity, the place was filthy and all the windows were painted shut. We Enrgies won't turn on the power without the landlord's permission and the landlord won't return any phone calls. Only the landlord has access to the basement to let We Enrgies in and will not respond at all. Because of their negligence, I am now forced to pay rent at two places and have to take them to court to get out of my lease plus I'm still out $975 dollars and have to come up with rent and security deposit for a new place in two weeks or I'm homeless.

Tim Dertz, Jason Fox, and Rudy Gudgeon are the dirtbags responsible. They also own Lava Java. Avoid them like the plague - thye are grifters.
