Don't even know where to begin. I've seen every1 in office & these are only a SMALL sample of the stories I have from visits over the past 2 yrs. EVERYtime I went something got messed up! 1st I saw Mary Jane & I waited 2 wks for her to make a simple phone call for me to get a referral to ENT. I called & left msg, saying if I didn't get one soon I'd file a complaint w/ins co. She called & left msg saying she'd been TRYING to call me but MY PHONE WAS DISCONNECTED! This was a total lie & she made the mistake of mentioning the Dr's name they were get ting me the referral for (they hadn't until this point). She said she'd been trying to get a hold of them but they hadn't called her back yet (another COMPLETE LIE!) I called the ENT's office myself, got a very friendly receptionist who said she hadn't heard ONE WORD from Hawkin's office. She gave me an appt no problem & actually called Hawkin's office for me to give THEM the referral that they had NOT yet requested! Another time I saw Margaret Downing w/a lump in my vein from an IV. I asked her 3 times if it was a bloodclot & everytime she said no. She said it was an infection & I needed antibiotics. I did the antibiotics & had to pay for another visit 3 wks later w/no change in my hand. On 2nd visit, the nurse took one look at it & said "that's a __" - I asked what that was & she said "A fancy word for a bloodclot" When Margaret saw me the 2nd time, she said she'd have to talk to Dr Hawkins about it & get back to me. When she did, she said it WAS a bloodclot in an artificial vein that would go away eventually (glad I had to pay for that 2nd visit!) Recently I saw Dr Hawkins and inadvertently got a 2nd opinion when I called the emerg # over the weekend. I'd just been to her the day B4 (2nd time for same issue), & the dr on call said she should've done more tests. Went back 3rd time on Mon & she stormed out of office slammed door & refused to do more tests. They've also messed up bloodwork almost everytime I had it done
