HORRIBLE experience!!! Started off decent enough... I asked for a notary and was told I could sit down at the table and theyd be with me in a minute. The owner of this store is the notary, with an adorable dog named Scooter that roams the store and the other employees seemed pleasant enough. When I explained I needed to have my Will notarized, this man immediately shot off that I don't need to have a Will notarized. I told him that from what I understood, that CA doesn't require it, but the state I was moving to advised that in doing so it would speed up any court proceedings and that I'd like to get that done. It's called having a "self proving" Will and different states require different processes. The one I'm moving to happens to require two witnesses that sign an affidavit in front of a notary. He argued and said he just re certified his license and he KNEW the laws and got visibly upset when I read to him what the other state required. He was condescending and rude and refused to accept one of my witnesses because we are related which doesn't matter. They just have to be over 18 and not an heir in the Will. I've met some rude people, but this guy took the cake today. I would recommend using another mailing facility and notary unless you want to possibly take the chance of knowing more about a subject than this owner does and getting chewed out for it.
