he workman who disconnected our system (by request) left the home without telling myself or my husband, and apparently picked up the check we wrote without our say so. We also had not come to a decision regarding whether to take or leave part of the system and of course we didn't get that option since he did not talk to us again before leaving. The invoice was left where we didn't see if for several hours, and he did such a terrible job of taping the boxes we almost lost part of the system out of the bottom. Save yourself some money (they charge $245 to remove the softener system) and hire a plumber instead. I promise, all they did was cut the pipes and reconnect them lower, outside the wall, without the softener system. The company seemed unconcerned when I complained. There's a chance he told one of the other people working at our house that he was leaving, but we are the homeowners, we own the system, and we're the ones paying. He knew who we were and it's unacceptable behavior.
