Oak Grove is a part of the northeast region of Louisiana. The city's major attraction is Lanes Ferry Bridge. Every year in September the Jessie James Trade Days are held here. Among the biggest companies in Oak Grove are Brown Holley Funeral Home and West Carroll Gazette. The biggest schools here are Oak Grove High School and Oak Grove Elementary. One of the best places to visit when you are in Oak Grove is Fiske Theater. Famous persons from Oak Grove include Tony Joe White.

I really enjoy going to the old Fiske Theatre. It's so charming to walk up the sidewalk on Main Street and go back in time into the 50s as you walk through the doors of the theatre. The employees are well mannered and make the experience better. The old curtains and upholstery give the feel that James Dean is about to appear on a black and white screen.
